Helping Our Brothers & Sisters (HOBS)

HOBS provides mentoring and short-term financial assistance to US combat veterans with an emphasis on those living with PTSD and other chronic issues.  HOBS is also uniquely positioned to support LGBTQ veterans denied recognition and support due to their sexual orientation.

 Helping our Brothers an Sisters

Please help these veterans, many of whom are

not receiving the care they need through the

Veteran’s Administration.

Our Reason

An all volunteer micro charity with Guide Star's Gold Seal of Approval and a certified Combined Federal Campaign Approved Charity #76667. We are unique in our support of primarily combat veterans who are not served by others. We help those veterans needing mentoring and guidance to re-engage with the Veterans Administration and other charities/nonprofits/non-governmental-organizations. We are uniquely positioned to assist veterans who have experienced discrimination, especially the LGBTQI population.

We are grateful for the financial and pro bono support of a wide variety of businesses. To name only a few businesses, Cox Communications; Findlay Chevrolet Las Vegas; Walmart; Caesars; PDQ Printing of Las Vegas; John Wall, CPA; Martin & Associates, LTD; State Farm Insurance Agent, Gregory Moore; Amazon; and Morton's and Fleming's Steakhouses. We also enjoy the generous support of terrific individuals and of course the veterans we help continue to give back and pay it forward.

We have two primary areas that we operate in: Las Vegas, NV and the Washington, DC metro area. We are a federal 501c3 and certified as a veteran nonprofit in multiple states.
